Busy Book is made by The Mask Apothecary.
We do not want your data. We just want to make your life better. No accounts. No sign-ups. No servers of ours. Your plans live on your own devices and your own iCloud. We never see your data.
Busy Book is a life planner that works offline first. There are no accounts and no sign-in: you open the app and it is yours. Everything you write lives on your device, and an optional iCloud sync keeps your own devices in step using your own private iCloud, not a server of ours.

Frequently asked questions
Where does my data live?
On your device, and on your own iCloud if you turn sync on. Busy Book has no accounts and no server of ours, so there is nowhere else for it to be. You can export your whole book any time from Me > Export a backup, which is also the best way to keep a copy. Deleting the app with iCloud sync on is safe: reinstall and everything comes back. Without sync on, deleting the app deletes everything on that device, so export first if you might want it back.
How does iCloud sync work?
One toggle, in Me > iCloud sync. Turn it on and the book syncs across every device signed into your own iCloud account, the same way Apple's own apps sync. There is no server address, no house code and no key to enter. We do not run the sync and cannot see what passes through it: it is between your devices and Apple's iCloud, nothing else. Leave it off, and everything simply stays on the one device.
What about my phone's other calendars?
Me > Calendars > Bring in this phone's calendars: one toggle, one iOS permission prompt. Every calendar already on your phone, iCloud, Google, whichever you use, appears in Busy Book read only, in a colour you choose. Change an event where it lives to see the change reflected here. Busy Book never edits or shares anything on those calendars, and never sends them anywhere.
How much does it cost?
Busy Book is £2.99 a month or £29.99 a year, each person with their own subscription. Sharing a book with someone else in your house works when you each have Busy Book on your own phone. Prices include VAT and are charged through the App Store.
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Make sure the device is signed in to the same Apple Account you subscribed with, then use Restore purchases in Me > Subscription, or simply reinstall from the App Store. Billing, refunds and cancellation are all managed through your Apple Account settings.
Can I rely on the medicine and health sections?
They are a memory aid, nothing more. Busy Book helps you remember times, doses and appointments, but it never diagnoses anything and never gives medical advice. Always follow the packet, and always trust your GP over anything in the app.
What happens if someone leaves the household?
Their device keeps the things they made themselves. The things they could only see because of the household can be removed from their device if the household chooses. In short: leaving takes back what the household showed you, never what you made. Each person's own subscription carries on as it was.
How do I delete everything?
Me > Start again clears this device. If iCloud sync was on, your own iCloud still holds a copy so that reinstalling brings it back. To remove that copy too, go to the iPhone Settings app > your name > iCloud > Manage Account Storage > Busy Book > Delete. We hold nothing, so there is nothing for us to delete.
